Microblading creates a perfectly shaped brow using tiny hair strokes that are delicately and expertly drawn by hand using a very fine sterile blade coated in a semi-permanent pigment. The colour is carefully selected to give the exact results required. This treatment is perfect for clients that would like to fill gaps in brows or create a semi-permanent brow colour and shape that can last up to 18 months.
To obtain NVQ/VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Microblading, you need to learn 5 units which are
UCO35 Health and safety in the salon
UBT247 Client care and consultation
UBT248 Enhance appearance using microblading techniques
UBT249 Anatomy and physiology for microblading techniques
UBT250 Eyebrow shaping services
you are also required to produce a portfolio of evidence, perform practical’s, and review case studies. A portfolio will confirm the knowledge, understanding, and skills that you have learned.
Entry requirements
It is recommended that learners have an interest and or additional qualifications in this sphere of beauty treatments. We will conduct initial assessments to ensure learners are capable of producing evidence to the required standard.
